The X in the title is to be understood as the number 10 written in Latin: 2014 – 2024, the first decade of activity for what has become the most famous Italian salsa orchestra in the world. The event had to be celebrated and so the leader and founder Fabrizio Zoro did it by preparing with his musicians and singers an album worthy of this anniversary.
It is the fifth in order of release after Regresando al Guagyuancò, Joseito, Resilienza and Un Nuevo Dia, with an average of one production every two years.

Rodolfo Guerra , an esteemed Peruvian bassist with a 35 year career; the style is reminiscent of Willy Rosario, the voice is that of the“Matancero who lives in Florence”Donny Reyes , the new singer of Maxima; on brass, special guest,Michel Padron , a Cuban who lives in Bristol in the UK – on trumpetsGabriel Oscar Rosati andEl Vikingo de La Salsa .
Paga El Guaguanco – this song is arranged by FabrizioZoro, sung by Donny Reyes (who also wrote the lyrics) and features the new pianist of Maxima 79, AndreaGiubilei, on the piano, while on the brass we still findGabriel Oscar Rosati andEl Vikingo from La salsa.
Yo Traigo Salsa – In this Pachangon by Fabrizio Zoro (who also plays congas and campanal) the guitar of Xavi Masvidal stands out , which we have already heard in songs like La Gripe and Mucho Guaguanco . The lyrics deal with the contrast between bachateros and salseros, very topical in Europe these days.
