Steve Guasch & ONE – “Sombrero Donde No Hay Cabeza”

Seattle, Wa. (July 11, 2025) –

Salsaneo Records is proud to announce the release of the new single “Sombrero Donde No Hay Cabeza” by Steve Guasch & O.N.E. (Orquesta Nueva Era), featuring special guest appearance by acclaimed singer Rico Walker.

This vibrant production is a composition by maestro Carlos Zerquera and has a masterful arrangement by the renowned Pedro Bermúdez.

“Sombrero Donde No Hay Cabeza” features a cast of top-notch musicians, including the special participation of Edwin “Mulenze” Morales on bass, the legendary William “Kachiro” Thompson (R.I.P.D.) on the conga, and the talented Enrique “Kiki” Valera on the Cuban cuatro, along with other outstanding musicians.

The mixing of the song was in charge of BettrMusik Studio by Julio Jauregui, and the mastering was done by the famous Bob Katz, guaranteeing an exceptional sound quality.

The leader of the orchestra, Steve Guasch, comments enthusiastically about this release: “For me it is an honor and a pleasure not only to record one of Mr. Carlos Zerquera’s songs, but also to have had the opportunity to meet him and play with his Grupo Son Trinitario when I visited Cuba.

He was kind enough to invite me to play some songs with them, and one of those songs was ‘Sombrero Donde No Hay Cabeza’.

After the presentation, he expressed his desire for me to record the song with my orchestra, with the only interest that it would have the opportunity to be heard abroad.

After a couple of years, that commitment materialized with the recording of this song. For me, this song is a tribute to Carlos Zerquera and his Son Trinitario from Trinidad, Cuba.”

It should be noted, this is the second single from the new album entitled “Buscando La Verdad”, which will be released on July 18. “Sombrero Donde No Hay Cabeza” is now available for purchase through the official website of Salsaneo Records.
