Talented singer, songwriter and cellist Sada, one of the most respected artists in Afro-Latin fusion, presented her most recent single, “Como quiero yo,” a vibrant Latin tropical genre track that promises to light up the dance floor with an infectious rhythm and lyrics full of feeling.
“I wrote this song because I wanted to celebrate that strong love, which makes you feel like you can’t live without that person. It’s a cha-cha-chá with a tropical soul, full of rhythm and flavor, which connects me with my roots and with the joy of loving deeply,” explains Sada about the inspiration behind “Como quiero yo.” The song is available on all digital platforms.
“I couldn’t stop moving. The beat washed over me instantly, and I asked my producer Alex Tamayo to capture that vibe in every chord. It is one of those songs that are born with a life of their own, inviting you to dance from the first bar,” said Sada about the creative process.
The release of “Como quiero yo” is accompanied by a music video, made by Oscar Vásquez, “which transports you directly to Havana, with its rhythm, its colors and that energy that is only experienced there,” adds Sada.
Sada is passionate about Latin music and tropical rhythms. With a captivating voice and contagious energy, she seeks to connect with the audience through songs that celebrate love, joy and her cultural roots. Its music invites you to dance and feel life in every measure.
The artist has collaborated with Jennifer López, Bjork, Halsey, Camilo, Vanesa Martín and Carlos Rivera.
In 2020, he accompanied Shakira at her Super Bowl show. He fuses his Cuban and Beninese roots with his classical training to create a unique sound, which integrates the cello with Afro-Latin genres.
