Self Reflection is Nagaï‘s new music videoclip, taken from her latest EP Back To My Roots. This song, sung in English and Reunion Creole, the artist’s mother tongue, invites us to introspection.
Through this title, Nagaï suggests taking a break in a world where everything goes too fast, where humans sometimes get lost in a hectic daily life. “Go back to yourself, observe yourself, accept what the mirror reflects back to you, take the time to understand yourself. We must face who we are, without artifice,” said the artist.
Self Reflection is the third video from the EP Back To My Roots, after the songs Jah Love (YouTube) and the eponymous title of the project (YouTube). The music of this EP has been described as “volcanic reggae”; it was produced by Kaboum Music, mixed by Roberto Sánchez, and released last October.
Nagaï will be on tour in France from March 26 to April 12, 2025 for 13 dates, opening for Israel Vibration. She will continue her European tour in July and August, presenting her new album accompanied by her musicians from La Réunion, for a show that is energetic, meditative and explosive.
