MG Liz, born in Kingston and raised in St. Catherine, makes her official recording debut with ‘Love Up’. Drawing inspiration from iconic vocalists like Marcia Griffiths and Gladys Knight, she brings a fresh, contemporary energy to the roots genre.

Her collaboration with Derajah is the culmination of a year-long creative partnership, marking the arrival of a compelling new voice characterized by both emotional strength and melodic grace.
 
Derajah is a distinguished figure in the modern roots-reggae scene, widely recognized for his work with the legendary Inna De Yard collective.

Since his debut in 2002 under the guidance of Sugar Minott, he has built a reputation as a “reggae troubadour,” blending deep spiritual Nyabinghi rhythms with powerful social messages.

His soulful, versatile vocals have earned him a devoted following across Europe and Brazil, particularly through anthems like “Who Yeah Yah.”
