Renowned journalist Lindsay Casinelli will be part of Telemundo’s anchor team for the coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, an important step in her professional career by joining the network’s sports universe.
With a stellar background in entertainment and a true passion and knowledge for the sport, Casinelli takes on this new challenge as one of the studio presenters of the most important soccer event in the world. This reaffirms her status as one of the most influential and beloved figures in Hispanic television.

His starring role in covering the World Cup will bring dynamism and bring millions of fans all the excitement, stories and moments behind the most important tournament in world football.

Telemundo will present the most ambitious coverage in the history of the Spanish-language tournament in the United States, with more than 700 hours of programming from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The network will broadcast all 104 matches live (92 on Telemundo and 12 on Universo), in addition to offering streaming on Pea*** (Premium and Premium Plus subscribers) and on the Telemundo app.
The production will have a presence in all 104 matches throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada, with unprecedented access, authenticity and real-time coverage from each stadium.
In April, Casinelli took a key step in her career by officially joining as co-host of La Mesa Caliente, Telemundo’s hit afternoon show, which is celebrating its fourth anniversary. After her participation as a guest co-presenter since September 2025, Casinelli officially joined the panel along with Verónica Bastos, Andrea Meza and Karla Monroig, marking the beginning of a new stage for the number one Spanish-language television program in its time slot.
With her experience, charisma and credibility, Lindsay Casinelli is positioned as one of the key voices that will accompany the audience in this historic World Cup.
