Cha-cha, salsa and meringue and with a retro and vintage touch, that’s what Lavanda Son is, a Venezuelan tropical salsa band founded in 2018 by producers Marcos Aguilar and Reynaldo Ramírez. ‘Hacker de tu Piel’ is his first studio album.
Lavanda Son was born out of the need for bands to narrate their personal life experiences through music. Lavanda Son is influenced by Cuban music, especially Trova. “Soft Salsa” implies a light Latin rhythm, with very few instruments, in which the guitar plays the Son Montuno, rare in the genre.
For now, the band is currently working on the music for their second album with LMS Records, which will be released in 2022. Six songs from this first EP make up their material, of which the eponymous song Hacker de Tu Piel, Para Qué Follow, stands out. Dreaming, Love in Construction and Morning Flower.
