Written from a place of genuine admiration for Madrid’s atmosphere, culture, and emotional landscape, “Estamos En Madrid” combines intimate songwriting, contemporary pop and Latin alternative influences, and Mediterranean-inspired textures to create a cinematic musical experience.
The collaboration unites Torres’s renowned songwriting style with Lucía Fernanda’s distinctive vocal presence, resulting in an intergenerational and intercultural recording based on an authentic narrative.
“Madrid has always been a very special place for me,” Torres said. “This song was born from moments, memories, friendships, and emotions that only this city could inspire. Having Lucía join me on this recording made it even more meaningful because of our friendship and the deep respect I have for her family, especially Antonio Carmona, whom I admire greatly.”
The release comes as Torres continues an extensive promotional tour in Spain. Since May 25, the artist has been based in Madrid, making media appearances, giving interviews, creating content, holding industry meetings, and engaging with his fans in support of the single’s release and expanding his creative presence in Spain.
The launch campaign will culminate in a special live performance during De Aquí P’Allá Fest at Sala Tempo in Madrid, where Torres will headline an evening dedicated to celebrating music, culture, and artistic exchange. The event will feature several special guests and collaborators throughout the evening and will mark the world live premiere of “Estamos En Madrid,” performed by Elsten Torres and Lucía Fernanda together for the first time on any stage.
The single continues an active creative period for Torres, who recently announced his 30th anniversary concert, “Elsten Torres: From Fulano to Forever,” scheduled for September 19, 2026, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The special event will celebrate three decades of music, songwriting, and artistic evolution, and will also serve as the live recording of Torres’s first-ever live album.
