Featuring her latest musical single Carol of the Bells. Dislocados the first Ukrainian music group to present Latin American music to Ukrainians, winner of the Independent Music Awards. Behind the Dislocados musicians there are hundreds of concerts in different parts of Europe, Asia and Africa, heard by America. The band Dislocados is the decoration of the best music festivals, because the challenge of its incendiary rhythms is accepted by the best salseros in the world and the lyrics of their songs have not left their lips for many years. The songs of the band are masterpieces recorded with the best musicians in the world.
The band was founded in 2005 under the direction of Ilya Yeresk, one of the most successful pianists and composers in Ukraine. Among the 12 members of the band is also Denis Adu, chosen as the best Ukrainian jazz musician at the 2009 Dodj Competition.
Dislocados literally translates to “crazy,” which emphasizes the band’s crazy nature and the idea that the musicians’ country of birth does not dictate their musical direction and experience. On February 10, 2008, DISLOCADOS made their world debut as the first international Hard Salsa band to appear on Hard Salsa Radio and WHUT 91.9 FM in New York with their song “Resaca.”
Gaining popularity in America and Western Europe, DISLOCADOS released the album “La Salida”, the first salsa album in Ukraine, the notation of which was written by legendary salsa musician Andy Harlow. Since the launch of La Salida, DISLOCADOS has received great international recognition and accolades from prominent musicians such as Jimmy Bosch and Andy Harlow.
The international recognition of the band Dislocados is a tool with which they try to promote the musical style of Hard Salsa in Ukraine to include their country in the list of the highest aspirants to world attention in this genre.
