“First a tintico, and then I am.” The successful athlete and influencer Beta Mejía grew up in the coffee plantations of Colombia, on the family farm, surrounded by horses and cows. This is how he became one of the most knowledgeable public figures in coffee and the creator of his own brand to “unite two worlds”.
“I grew up proud of where I was born, and coffee has been a great connector. When I competed in crossfit, my ritual was a cafecito, a good Colombian tintico as a pre-workout. That led me to be the best in Colombia and Latin America, until I retired from competitions,” says the influencer.
For Beta, coffee means permanent laughter and moments full of happiness, but also connection and culture.
“I love living that experience. It’s my zen moment, from selecting the beans, putting them in the grinder, and filling the whole house with the smell of coffee,” she says.

| Her followers ask her every day about recipes, the process and the best way to take it. Therefore, as coffee is part of her DNA and her inner child, she decided to share her experience with the world. “My brand ‘A lo bien coffee by Beta Mejía’ seeks to infect all my followers and new communities. I want them to join the coffee, so that they connect – with all their senses – to a multisensory experience and a flavor that will take them directly to the field,” said the former athlete. Mejía assures that ‘A lo bien coffee’ connects the best of both worlds: a specialty product for connoisseurs of good coffee, like himself, and lovers who enjoy a simple tintico. ‘A lo bien coffee by Beta Mejía’ is of medium roast, with a score of 86, and of Antioquia origin, like its promoter. It is already present in online and physical stores in the United States, Colombia and Mexico. The presentation took place with a “coffee party” in Miami, hosted by the product’s godmother, Clarissa Molina. Among the special guests and friends were Aleska Genesis, Marko, Proyecto Uno, Tiby Camacho, Erubey, Juan Pablo Llano, Catalina Gómez Pi, Imaray Villoa, Rodner Figueroa, Pollito Tropical, Valeria Sandoval and Toni Costa. Beta Mejía took the reins of her life as a teenager to get ahead. From the age of 13 he sold sweets and fruit at school. He always looked for a way to earn money honestly to help his family. |
