Ricky Luis – Amiga

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Ricky Luis returns as a solo artist with “Amiga,” a contemporary romantic salsa inspired by a song he originally wrote when he was just 14 years old.

The story behind “Amiga” began with a teenage friendship that gradually developed into deeper feelings. Ricky Luis originally recorded a demo titled “Más que amiga,” preserving the emotions and melody that would eventually become the foundation for the new song.

Released in August 2026, “Amiga” brings that early composition into the present with a fresh salsa arrangement and a mature musical perspective. The song marks a new chapter in Ricky Luis’ career while maintaining the romantic spirit that has been part of his musical journey.
