
After “Somos Latinos”, a single that already exceeds 1.8 million plays between YouTube and Spotify, Fer Ariza presents “Antioqueño hasta que muera”, his second release with Universal Music.
The song, of tropical genre, is a tribute to the Flower Fair and the paisa identity.
The single covers some of the most representative symbols of the city through its lyrics, with references to the Metro, the sculptures of Fernando Botero, the Pueblito Paisa, the bandeja paisa, Comuna 13 and the Flower Fair.
In addition, he highlights the entrepreneurial character of the people of Antioquia and the cultural impact that has made Medellín a national and international benchmark.
”’Antioqueño hasta que muera’ was born from pride in the land that has seen me grow up and for a city that today is a cultural and tourist reference. I wanted to make a song to celebrate its people, its customs and the joy that is experienced during the Flower Fair,” says Fer Ariza.
The video clip was recorded in some of the most representative places in Medellín and accompanies the tour that the song proposes, showing scenarios that reflect the culture, history and identity of the capital of Antioquia.
With this release, Fer Ariza continues to consolidate the new stage of his career with his record label, with a proposal that highlights Colombian roots and celebrates one of the most representative festivities in the country.
