This single is a tribute to Puerto Rican Christmas music, with that infectious sound that invites you
to celebrate and dance with your family.
“Our music conveys joy, unity, and lots of positive energy. ‘Christmas Is Love’ represents exactly that: the spirit of sharing and enjoying our roots,” Valerie said.
For this production, Morales brought together his closest team —artists and friends he considers part of his musical family—, collaborating again with arranger Wilfrido Drullard and producer Richard Marcell.
On this occasion, Valerie Morales invited three exceptional talents to share the musical essence and festive message of the season:
Yeika Álvarez , originally from San Sebastián, Puerto Rico and current official backing vocalist for
Gilberto Santa Rosa .
Richard Marcell , renowned musician, producer, and singer, to whom Valerie attributes—along with
Wilfrido Drullard —the inspiration that led her to return to merengue.
And
Dagmaris Bermúdez , a prominent Puerto Rican percussionist who, in this production, makes
her debut as a solo singer, contributing her sensitivity and talent to this
Christmas interpretation.
The song was written by the legendary Puerto Rican composer José Nogueras, author of countless
Christmas classics. The recording featured the participation of prominent musicians:

“Navidad Es Amor” is shaping up to be one of the most beautiful and representative songs of
Puerto Rican Christmas this year.
With these releases, Valerie Morales continues to solidify her place in merengue and
tropical music, integrating her personal style into each production. “De Pie” will be part of her
upcoming album, scheduled for early 2026, which will include her most
recent hits: “No Será Fácil,” “Como Cambia La Vida,” and “Débil.”
