Acclaimed Puerto Rican artist Guaynaa presented his new single “Lo que dijo la Gitana,” an emotional tribute to Ismael Rivera, one of the greats of salsa, with which he promises to make you dance with a contagious rhythm.
“Lo que dijo la Gitana” is an updated version of one of Guaynaa’s favorite songs, with an additional arrangement of contemporary touch.
“I wanted to pay tribute to her and enjoy her on stage,” Guaynaa said.
The song, now available on all digital platforms, is dedicated to “all those women who have a gypsy soul”.
“It’s a journey back to my roots, and a celebration of the music that has inspired me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it,” said the Puerto Rican artist.
Guaynaa thus continues the series with great classics of the tropical genre, to honor and keep alive the essence of iconic works. Previously, he recorded “Hasta el sol de hoy”, with Farruko, a tribute to Edgar Joel and Anthony Colón.
With these versions, the artist demonstrates his versatility and commitment to the cultural richness of Latin music.

Jean Carlos Santiago Pérez (Guaynaa) is a prominent Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and rapper, recognized for bringing freshness and humor to Latin urban music. He rose to international fame with his 2018 viral hit “Rebota,” which entered the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in 2019. Since then he has continued to evolve his sound under the Universal Music Latino label. With her playful style and energetic performances, Guaynaa has become one of the most distinctive voices in today’s reggaeton and Latin rap scene, with absolute dominance for both salsa and cumbia, in pieces that are difficult to perform.
