Humbert Ibarra – Mujer Barranquillera

From Barranquilla, Colombia, emerges Humbert Ibarra , a virtuoso percussionist who has masterfully fused the folk music of the Colombian Caribbean with Afro-Cuban rhythms and jazz. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, since 2009, this artist has left his mark with a very personal stamp, incorporating the word “ABBA” into his productions as a way of thanking God. His most recent single, “Mujer Barranquillera ,” is a tribute to the warrior, entrepreneurial, and spirited women of his homeland.

Throughout his career, Humbert Ibarra has shared the stage and recording studios with internationally renowned figures such as
Shakira ,
Ceelo Green ,
Alberto Barros ,
Néstor Torres ,
Justo Almario and
Alfredo de la Fe , in addition to collaborating with renowned producers such as
Isidro Infante and
Cuco Peña . His talent has led him to participate in high-impact tours and projects, including the
Celia Cruz musical and the La Sonora productions
Carruseles and
Charlie Zaa .

This song, composed by
Frank Ajeno , arranged by
David Silva , and produced by
Néstor Echenique , is not only a tribute to the women of Barranquilla, but also a testament to Ibarra’s commitment to her culture and people.
Highly recommended for those who appreciate music that comes from the heart and honors her roots.
