Spontaneous Groovin’ Combustion is woodwindist/composer Warren A. Keller and his like-minded band of musicians. A lifelong singer/songwriter and instrumentalist, Warren had tasted success on the New York City rock and roll
and Nashville country scenes in the 1980s and 90s.

In 2016, Warren rededicated himself to music, with a decided slant toward the contemporary/smooth jazz genre he’d come to love.
Within two years’ time, he’d assembled some of the best musicians and producers on the planet to record his original tunes as
Spontaneous Groovin’ Combustion (SGC)

Debuting in April 2019, SGC has made SmoothJazz.com’s Top 20, RadioWave’s Top 30, and Smooth Jazz Network’s Top 50 charts, as well as the top 25% of the BDS chart.

SGC is very proud to have been included in SmoothJazz.com’s Top 100 Albums of 2020-2023. “Chicago Morning” debuted 3/18/2022, and is the seventh single by the contemporary/smooth jazz ensemble, Spontaneous Groovin’ Combustion, led by saxophonist, Warren A. Keller.

“Chicago Morning” was co-written by Warren, along with hitmaker Blake Aaron, who also produced the track. “Chicago Morning” features Darryl Williams on bass, Tateng Katindig on piano, Tony Moore on drums, Blake on guitars, and Warren on alto sax and flute.
