JN Music Group presents the album – Latin Jazz For Gringos Vol. 2”



The company  JN Music Group , directed by the brothers  Juan Hidalgo  and  Nelson Estévez ; once again join the celebration of International Jazz Day for the second consecutive year as a result of the incorporation into their musical catalogs of two important Jazz labels: Producciones Yapacana and Liryc  Jazz  ,  plus what they already have in their extensive catalog of Latin Music. 

Resulting in the creation of its JN Jazz World Music division in 2020.For this reason, JN Jazz launches its second Jazz compilation: “LATIN JAZZ FOR GRINGOS VOL. 2”, this due to the success obtained from the first volume; now with 16 finely selected tracks to the delight of all jazz consumers, who will also receive an album on all music platforms and a video on YouTube with the entire collection in a single video.

Among the artists that will be part of this second edition are important exponents such as:  Charlie Palmieri, Chuchito Valdés, Eddie Palmieri, Felix Rodríguez, Johnny Pacheco, Willie Rosario, El Pavo Frank, Andy Duran, Orlando Poleo, Alfredo Naranjo, Ángel Rada, Rafael Velásquez, Kactus, Tuesday 8:30, Marlow Rosado  and  Gustavo Caruci  among others.

Jazz is a musical genre whose roots come from African-American culture. It had its beginnings in the 19th century in the United States and today, it is spread around the world. 

Its main characteristic is that it is a type of music where improvisation when interpreting makes the difference and is not strictly adapted to the use of sheet music. 

The role of the person who performs this kind of music is more creative and participatory. The musician is capable of embodying all his musical skills and talents to create a true masterpiece.

Latin jazz is a branch of jazz that thrives on the fusion of original rhythms and forms of Latin music, especially Cuban and Brazilian, with elements of jazz. 

Its conformation as a defined subgenre occurs in 1943 with the emergence of Afro-Cuban jazz and years later with the creation of bossanova in 1957. However, the influence of Latin music in jazz has been present since its early days. 
Latin jazz over time was enriched with musical influences from Argentina, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia and the rest of Latin America.

And on the occasion that International Jazz Day is celebrated worldwide every April 30, the aim is to raise awareness of the importance of jazz as an educational tool and tool for promoting peace, dialogue and cooperation between peoples from all over the world. world. 
The day was decreed by UNESCO with the aim of publicizing a musical movement of great educational value, as well as a resource that can contribute to cultural exchange, dialogue and cooperation between peoples worldwide.
