Pancho Amat – Memorias

When a solid, successful and committed artistic career is proudly displayed, nothing beats an anthology.
And that will be Memorias, the phonogram that announces the ace of the three in Cuba, Pancho Amat. The cuban tres, an unforgettable presence if Pancho Amat is concerned, will also be in these Memoirs.

Because the new album, for which eleven songs have been selected.
All the more reason to congratulate a production that allows the enjoyment of Amat’s masterful performance.

And as a good compilation, Memorias, will include sounds reminiscent of the Manguaré of the 70s. The Latin American soul will revive in its strings because, according to the press, it will include “music from the Andean highlands, from the plains of Venezuela, from Brazil, as well as of the Guantanamo nengón and a salon contradanza.

”The Cabildo del Son will also have its space in these Memoirs.
Songs like Let those who ate sing, La Fiesta de San Benito-A bailar nengón and Camina pa que te conocen allow the fusion of Latin rhythm with the grace of this region and the performance of the group.

But the Memoirs tour would not be complete if it did not include what reveals the artist today.
And there it is, I’ll wait for you, an endearing tribute that Amat -along with the poet Héctor Gutiérrez and singer María Victoria Rodríguez- dedicates to the doctors after the singular circumstance that afflicts the world.
