Lozano, a Barranquillero with a new musical production
They call him Potty Lozano , but artistically he’s just Lozano . A Barranquilla resident in Miami for thirty years, who is currently launching the production Bolero Jazz, Feeling, Bossa, Latin Jazz.
Lozano’s musical career began as a soloist with the song Si supieras , and he also ventured into vallenato with the accordion player Andrés Juliao.
In this new production he brings as a potpourri a tribute to the legendary Puerto Rican Héctor Lavoe, with the songs Ausencia , Let her continue and Let’s laugh a little.
Likewise, the album begins with the ballad Solo para ti , by another icon of composition and song as was and continues to be the Mexican Armando Manzanero.
The Barranquillero also mixes romantic salsa with flamenco, and touches of classical jazz, all with musical production and arrangements by Alex Duque.
There are eight pieces in which Lozano moves with sufficiency by different sound types, and puts all his musical talent to the test.
